- The County of Santa Clara Board of Supervisors dedicated this plaza to Jim. In addition, they helped pay for the signage on the plaza, a donor recognition plaque on the plaza, window refurbishing, and a plaque inside the County building.
- Gertrude Welch was co-chair of the Jim McEntee Legacy Committee and spear-headed the Legacy Art Project. She also sponsored the peace doves in the center of the square.
- Applied Materials sponsored the window.
- The eight benches in the plaza were sponsored by the Asian Law Alliance, Castellano Family Foundation, Michael Fox, Sr., Diocese of San Jose, the McKenna Family, St. John Vianney Catholic Community, Bob and Nancy Weeks,and Susie Wilson.
